Introduction:

Application-aware backups are critical for ensuring that enterprise applications—such as VMware virtual machines, Microsoft SQL Server databases, and Microsoft Exchange mail systems—can be restored reliably with full data consistency. Unlike simple file-level or VM-level backups, application-aware backups understand the internal workings of these applications, enabling Rubrik to coordinate with the applications to maintain transactional consistency and integrity during backup operations.

This training will provide learners with a practical understanding of configuring, managing, and troubleshooting application-aware backups using Rubrik.
