Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

The person will be the Point of Contact for forecasting and budget planning
Updates the forecast with monthly / weekly actual data and suggested improvements based on trend analysis
Refines forecasting scenarios and generates final forecast
Refines and capture data to be used as an input to the models
Designs and develops forecasting scenarios
Generate short term forecasts, incorporating business impacts
Revise forecast based upon feedback
Maintain process documentation and tweak as per requirement.

Good skill in Mathematical and Statistical modelling (R-studio, python)

Senior Data Scientist

Job description

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for:

Contributing in development and deployment of applied, predictive and prescriptive analytics. Develop self-learning systems that can predict failures and autocorrect based on data
Gathering analysing data, devising data science solutions for high-performance models in scalable code. Propose innovative algorithms and pursue patents where appropriate.
Working with engineering teams to incorporate solutions and create intuitive UX stories. Partner with data engineers on data quality assessment, cleansing and analytics.
Researching and evaluating emerging technology and market trends to assist in project development and operational support for multiple teams or complex scenarios.
Contributing to the development of software and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components across multiple teams.
Creating reports and other artifacts to document your work and outcomes. Communicating methods, findings, and hypotheses with stakeholders.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a MS Degree in Computer Science or in STEM, Majors. 6+ years as data scientist and technical hands-on coding experience.
Have experience in Machine Learning/AI techniques including Deep learning (RNN, CNN, GAN, etc), Support Vector Machines; Regularization Techniques; Boosting, Random Forests, Ensemble Methods, image/video/audio processing, Bayesian and time series modelling.
Have experience in Parallel programming frameworks for GPUs, TPUs and developed containerized solutions (Docker/Mesos etc).
Have good implementation experience with R, Python, Perl, Ruby, Scala, Apache Spark, Storm, SAS and ability to work with a variety of Deep learning frameworks including TensorFlow, Keras, Caffe, CNTK, etc

Data Architect - Azure Data Warehouse

Job description

Convert business requirements to concept/ technical specification
Work along with source system experts in finalizing ETL and report design
Data modelling in preparing the data/ dimensional models in Azure Data lake
Coordinate with central team to replicate tables from source system to data lake
Support data modeler developer in design and development in MS SQL
Creation of activity plan as per the agreed concept with timelines

Required Profile

Data Engineer: Data Warehouse

Job description

As Data Warehouse Engineer, you are responsible for requirements gathering, System Designing, Data modeling, and ETL design, development, Production Enhancements, Support and Maintenance.

Responsibilities:

Generating DB scripts from Data modeling tool and Creation of physical tables in DB.
Worked SCDs to populate Type I and Type II slowly changing dimension tables from several operational source files
Creating some routines (Before-After, Transform function) used across the project
Creating omg Batches (DS job controls) and Sequences to control set of jobs.
Extensively use DataStage Change Data Capture for DB2 and Oracle files and employed change capture stage in parallel jobs.
Execute Pre and Post session commands on Source and Target database using Shell scripting

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

BE, B.Tech with >60% is must
2 years of experience in developing software applications including: analysis, design, coding, testing, deploying and supporting of applications.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities, SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Big Data model techniques.
Experience in developing SQL queries. Exposure in Data Migration from RDBMS to Snowflake cloud data warehouse. Good understanding of relational as well as NoSQL data stores, methods and approaches (star and snowflake, dimensional modelling)

Secondary Skills:

Hands-on with any scripting skills is preferred(Python/Spark)
Experience in ETL development & deployment using IBM DataStage
