Senior Data Scientist

Job description

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for:

  1. Contributing in development and deployment of applied, predictive and prescriptive analytics. Develop self-learning systems that can predict failures and autocorrect based on data
  2. Gathering analysing data, devising data science solutions for high-performance models in scalable code. Propose innovative algorithms and pursue patents where appropriate.
  3. Working with engineering teams to incorporate solutions and create intuitive UX stories. Partner with data engineers on data quality assessment, cleansing and analytics.

  1. Have a MS Degree in Computer Science or in STEM, Majors. 6+ years as data scientist and technical hands-on coding experience.

Job description

As Data Warehouse Engineer, you are responsible for requirements gathering, System Designing, Data modeling, and ETL design, development, Production Enhancements, Support and Maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  1. Generating DB scripts from Data modeling tool and Creation of physical tables in DB.
  2. Worked SCDs to populate Type I and Type II slowly changing dimension tables from several operational source files
  3. Creating some routines (Before-After, Transform function) used across the project
  4. Creating omg Batches (DS job controls) and Sequences to control set of jobs.
  5. Extensively use DataStage Change Data Capture for DB2 and Oracle files and employed change capture stage in parallel jobs.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  1. BE, B.Tech with >60% is must
  2. 2 years of experience in developing software applications including: analysis, design, coding, testing, deploying and supporting of applications.
